International Chapter
Our International Chapter extends the mission of Wake Up Humanity Organization beyond India through dedicated leadership, humanitarian initiatives, community engagement and meaningful social action.
Iftekhar A. Shareef
Iftekhar Shareef, a U.S. citizen and Indian by birth,
was one of the first recipients of the Overseas
Citizenship of India (OCI) card in 2006. A Chicago-based
businessman and community leader, he has fostered
connections between the U.S. and India through cultural
events and interactions with prominent figures.
He was the President and CEO of National Bankcard
Corporation. Shareef is also recognized as a social
activist and philanthropist, and in 2025, he joined
“Wakeup Humanity International” to campaign for a
Drug-Free World.
Satish (Sunny) Gabawala
Satish Gabawala is an experienced chairman with a
demonstrated history of working in the hospitality
industry. He is skilled in negotiation, business
planning, sales and the hospitality industry.
He served as Director of AAHOA (Asian American Hotel
Owners Association) and is a strong entrepreneurship
professional and community leader. He is a Strategic
Advisor to ANVI LLC and served as Chairman for CARE
GLOBAL SERVICES.
With his vast and diverse experience, he joined the
Wakeup Humanity International team for its strategic
campaign for a Drug-Free World.
Ashfaq A. Sharief
Mohammed Ashfaq Sharief is a U.S.-based businessman
with a computer science background who transitioned
from software engineering to business consulting
and management.
He is dedicated to community service, particularly
in education and sports, and supports various social
causes, including the “Wakeup Humanity International”
campaign for a Drug-Free World.
Essa Rashid Al Mheri Al Jumeri
Leading the UAE Chapter of Wake Up Humanity Organization
and working to advance the organization's mission through
humanitarian initiatives, community engagement, awareness
programs and meaningful social action.
Essa Rashid is a distinguished professional with extensive
experience in foreign relations, immigration intelligence,
and executive administration, including service with the
Private Administrative Office of H.E. Sheikh Khalid Bin
Ibrahim Hammad Al Qasimi.
He is the CEO of Mostes Real Estate LLC Dubai and has held
senior leadership roles with Hafez Properties Turkey,
Trump Towers Istanbul, and Al Jumeiri Group, with academic
experience at Griffith University, Gold Coast, Australia.
